FIRST TRIMESTER:
Physical Education (PE) helps students improve their physical fitness, learn sports and movement skills, and understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle. It also teaches teamwork, discipline, and how to stay active throughout life.
Key components of PE:
1. Physical fitness – strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
2. Skill development – learning motor skills like running, jumping, throwing, etc.
3. Knowledge – understanding body movement, health, and wellness.
4. Social skills – teamwork, fair play, and communication.
5. Lifelong fitness – encouraging active lifestyles beyond school.
A team sport is an activity where individuals work together in groups to compete against another team, aiming to achieve a shared goal. These sports emphasize cooperation, strategy, and coordination among teammates. Examples include soccer, basketball, volleyball, rugby, and cricket.
